I am always working on several new projects at any given time. I work best under pressure. Below you can view some newspaper articles about my life and work.

What does a Bail Bond Agent do?
A bail bond agent is an enforcement officer of the courts with broader powers then most agencies. For instance: The city police department operates within the city limits; the sheriffs department operates within the county; the state police within the state. However, a professional bail bond agent has no boundaries to locate, apprehend and surrender the defendants back to the original arresting agency. No search warrant is needed to search the premises for the defendants.
Defendants pay a 10% fee against their total bond premium plus local booking and states fees upon being released out on bail. Collateral is required for larger bonds such as home, land, etc. to secure the bond. (UCC Filings are also an essential part of collateral.) This places the defendants into the custody of the bail bond agencies to insure all court appearances.
*DID YOU KNOW?*
That $7.00 dollars from each bond written here in Arkansas goes to the Battered Women's Shelters each year. In fact in 2008 we collected well over $450,000.00 dollars.
and
$20.00 dollars from each bond written goes to the State Appointed Attorneys Fund. Well over ONE MILLION DOLLARS was collected in 2008.
If the defendant fails to appear the court gives the bail bond agency 120 days to locate, arrest and surrender the fugitive back to the courts. The co-signers are charged with all expenses incurred to apprehend the fugitive. If the defendant can not be found the collateral is sold and paid to the courts. However, the warrant remains active on the defendant for failure to appear. For instance: if a home is placed as collateral on a $50,000.00 dollar bond and the defendant can not be found, foreclosure proceedings commence on the home to pay the courts the total bond premium of $50,000.00 dollars.
