Who said crime doesn't pay?
About

Picture of myselfBorn in Mena, Arkansas and raised on a small farm just outside  Vandervoort, Arkansas.  I was the youngest of two children.  My childhood was everything but normal.  Alcoholism and depression plagued my parents causing off and on breakups and often times a broken home.  My favorite memories throughout my childhood was family camping trips and vacations.  During those times everyone was happy, healthy and full of love.

I started my first summer job when I was 10 years old babysitting.  Later, at the age of 13, I worked planting trees during school holidays and on saturdays. By the age of 15, I was feeling extreme pressures from family life and my peers.  I did not like the person I was becoming nor the path my life was taking.  Before my 16th birthday I left home.

I never returned home to stay however, building a good loving relationship with my family was extremely important to me and I am very proud of that.

I had always dreamed of working in law enforcement in some fashion.  Unfortunately, I had many years of obstacles and bumpy roads to travel before beginning my career.

At the young age of 17, I married and by the age of 22 gave birth to my son (Justin).  Then is when my marriage began to crumble.  With my small toddler in tow I decided to make a bold and courageous move.  I divorced my cheating husband and began my career as a Professional Bail Bonds Woman.

Both excited and nervous there was absolutely no way of knowing just how treacherous my life and career would be at times.  I was faced with many, many obstacles from male chauvinist, being falsely arrested which carried one year in the county jail and many types of interference which halted my business and career on several occasions.  Yet, I remained steadfast with my determination and goals to succeed.

After many years in both bail bonding/bounty hunting and being a single parent the adventures are still ongoing.  The road has been challenging but looking back I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Currently, I am a professional bail bond agent in Southwest Arkansas with J.E. Bonding, Inc.  I have been with them for the past 16 years.  I also have a second business as a Legal Process Server (serving civil, divorce, lawsuits, child support papers, etc.) in which I started 14 years ago and a single parent of a 19 year old son.

Personal Highlight>>  In the summer 2002, I got the honor of doing a stand-up comedy routine at Stand-Up New York, New York City, NY.  It was refreshing to have everyone laugh with you instead of at you about my crazy professional life and personal life not to mention the lack thereof.
